About the materials and finish
Many steps of this piece are made by hand, so each one differs slightly in its finish.
The legs are made by welding steel parts together, so slight distortion from heat and weld marks may appear. Depending on the finish and the surroundings, rust may also appear in places.
The top is natural solid wood, so knots and genpei (red heartwood and pale sapwood together) may appear depending on how the wood is cut. Each top has its own grain and colour.
Traces of handwork, the individuality of the material, and the change that comes with years of use: we hope you will enjoy these differences as part of what makes this furniture what it is, unlike an industrial product.
